For modeling, I balanced the weight distribution of my model, focusing on the legs and head, to suit the heavy bronze. 2. Initially, I used PLA filament for the 3D printing, then recast it with wax using an alginate mold. However, due to the loss of fine details, I sought a solution and successfully resolved the issue by using wax filament. To smooth out the characteristic layers of 3D printing, I applied brown wax and shellac. 3. Following that, I crafted the ceramic shell and poured the bronze. 4. I designed and printed the dog house in 18 separate pieces, each featuring interlocking dowel parts for easy assembly.&nbsp; Additionally, I adjusted the infill to be extremely lightweight to accommodate the attachment of the dog's tail at the end. 2. While considering different ways to enhance the surface finish of my prints beyond sanding, I discovered that using a 3D pen allowed me to effectively mimic wood texture. Through a journey that involves sizzling frying pans and scorching hot oil, they yearn for that ephemeral moment when wings unfurl, and they take flight. These creatures, emerging from the depths of fryers like divine beings, elegantly anticipate the future generations that will follow in their graceful flight. Yet, within this serene panorama, an unexpected presence disrupts the tranquility. A beetle, adorned with a robust body and pointed horns, emerged from hot sizzling oil bubbles. However, a closer inspection reveals a different story. Every character in every frame is meticulously crafted from paper after rendering in 3D, cut and combined to create dozens, even hundreds of frames, forming a mesmerizing stop-motion spectacle. Some might perceive this approach as redundant. Yet, for me, the subtle distinction between digital images existing solely within computers and images physically printed on paper was profoundly significant. It felt like more than just a difference; it felt like inevitable fate. Sometimes I feel that the blurriness feels more real than the clear. Delusions come as nostalgia, like memories blurring itself in the mind. Maybe that’s because it feels like it has a separate atmosphere apart from the reality that we live in. This ambiguity leads us to a new world. We are to bend our bodies and look more really close to notice what is within. Through this act, viewers can naturally grow curiosity and affection toward the pieces. Containers have barriers that block reality. This barrier can be interpreted as atmosphere, layers, and filters, as we recognize the space inside the container as a new world. Filling up a clear box with water, sand, aquatic plants, and fish, or making terrariums by planting moss and other botanics may be from the attraction of creating a separate world apart from reality. 있다. &nbsp; 기억이 추억속에 흐려진것처럼 노스텔지아로 다가오는 착각을 주기도 한다.&nbsp; 우리가 살고있는 현실과 떨어져 개별된 대기를 가진것처럼 느껴져서 일수도 있다. 이러한 모호함은 우리를 새로운 세상으로 인도한다. 내가 만든 새로운 세상은 우리의 눈에 바로 노출되지 않는다. 대부분 직접 허리를 숙여 살펴봐야하거나, 지긋이 서서 지켜봐야 비로소 그안의 것들이 보이기 시작한다. 이 행위를 통해 관람자는 자연스럽게 작품에 대한 호기심과 작은 애정을 갖게된다. 컨테이너는 현실과 차단되는 막을 가지고있다. 이 막은 대기, 층, 필터로 해석되어 컨테이너 속 공간을 개별된 새로운 세계로 인지하게 한다. 투명한 박스에 물을 담아 모래와 수초를 심고 물고기를 넣어 어항을 만드는행위나, 이끼와 식물로 테라리움을 만드는 행위도 아마 같은 이유에서 현실과 구분된 세계를 만드는 행위에 끌렸기 때문일것이다. 이와같이 컨테이너 만들어내는, 착각하게 하는&nbsp; 환상, 환각을 탐험 해보았다. 24–09–2024
